My PC was built in 2004. Still works [insert]good[/insert]...spray_and_pray wrote:
Hmmm if they told me to buy one Id say no thanks I build my own PC's but they do seem to know what they are talking about. These are the 13 year olds which spend all their holidays behind a monitor and have no life what so ever. Then again their PC's are 1-2 years old LOL, yeah still wouldn't trust em though even though they have no life ive lived 2 times longer then them and thus must have spent at least over the amount of time that they have.younggun wrote:
And if 2 13 yr olds in a forum told you Dell rocked would you buy one?spray_and_pray wrote:
LOL ive never purchased a full PC in my life and I especially wouldn't purchase a DELL. From what ive heard from 2 13 year olds in a forum Dell sucks if 2 13 year olds who probly play runescape say Dell sucks ill say I wont touch a Dell PC with a 10 foot pole. And yeah of course im buying a AM2 mobo AM2 Chips dont fit in with socket 939 motherboards an AM2 Chip has 940 pins opposed to a 939's 939. Also the pin placement is different. Now im not sure if the motherboard is somehow compatible with both but I wouldn't even try to do it.
Point is they don't know what they are talking about... the Dell XPS line is actually pretty good. Also their budget line isn't bad either...
Of course it's cheaper to build your own but still Dell isn't that bad.
