i use Xfire, and it keeps track of my gaming hours by game.

being 01-Jan-2007, you can start tracking your gaming hours by year, by month, by day. it's pretty cool, start tracking yours today, since it is 01-Jan-2007, then you'll know how many total hours you played for 2007.

use a spreadsheet in excel or similar.

here's mine you can use to set yours up.

I hate XFire, I honestly don't see why people use it. Can't we all just get some instant messenger and just im the ip address instead of all downloading a seperate program?

with xfire there's no typing the wrong ip address. you just click join on your buddy and you're there in server with him.

If I really wanted to look for number of people with AIM I would, and that number would be a lot larger than what XFire has.

Whatever, I know only 3 people to game with on BF2. All three just look at my stats page if they want to join a game I'm in and if we want to start together, we go on vent and say the ip address, never fails. Seems stupid to download a program that just logs your time in a game.

i run them both. but i use Gaim, which has: Yahoo msgr, msn msgr, aim, icq, jabber.

also has a plugin for irc if u want.

And to flaming maniac, I'm not going to use it because it's more ram I'm wasting to just log my time on the thing. Besides, the other people I know who play online games already refuse to use the programs. The few really dedicated gamers I know already warned me not to get it because of the fact that you have to update every other day.

It updates like every 2 weeks, and it does it automatically. It downloads the update a few days before, then there's an "update day" where everyone is re-logged in and it installs it automatically. Kinda like Steam.
