I wouldn't recommend buying a new rig atm anyway... Until mainstream DX10 cards are out.

I will more than likely update the vid card sooner than 3 years. It was like pulling teeth to get my wife to approve this purchase, so I had to go with a little less right now.

I have a feeling you want to go as cheap as possible. I have to agree with  the others so far. You get what you pay for. For the most part I like what you have picked out except for the motherboard. A quality motherboard has been known to increase performance over cheaper motherboards.

Oh, forgot to mention the system I am running now is an AMD xp2800 with 1gb ddr 3200 and a Sapphire Radeon 9600 pro. So this new system should be quite a step up, I would think.

Agreeded, a better mobo would have been good, and the graphics card will need upgrading eventually, but considering DX10 only games will take a year or two to be a must, you should be alright in the mean time.  Rest of it seems good to me

If that AC Freezer 7 is as good as my Freezer 64 it'll keep your temps nice and cool. Good choice IMHO.
