Da JACKHAMMER! Vs. Scar-L Vs. MG36, please help me choose

Hey yall, new here. I have quite a issue.
So I sit at 19950 points this morning, and my upgrade is coming up. Now I'm not a dude that plays this game during the weak, and I SOMETIMES get to play saturday and sunday, so this very well may be my last unlock ever on this game, unless of course another expansion comes out. I want to choose wisely.

So I'm debating on my next gun, since it could be my last weapon of choice:

I can either choose the Engineer Jackhammer shotgun, the Scar-L, or the MG36.

Now, I wasn't really favoring the Scar, I'm very happy with my G36C. On another note, I hardly play engineer, and never really liked the kit, so I dont know how much action my Jackhammer would receive, on maps other than like Karkand and Sharqi. I was always more so leaning towards the MG36, but I think the PKM stands as a badass gun as it is. I have been doing a little research in Ubar, and it don't help me much, they're all perty good guns.

If you guys would help me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Most ppl think the dao is better then the jackhammer in close combat and i ve got the scarl but i think the g36c is better and more accurate.

I d go with the mg36.

Scar-L is good, but it's booooooooring...........
MG36 for some reason, just can't kill people. PKM is still the daddy.

JACKHAMMER! I unlocked this purely for comedic valuem but when I used it it raised the engineer class to a whole new level, so now engineer is my second favourite class! (After medic).
So seriously the jackhammer, it feels soooooooo gooooood when a sneaky SpecOps thinking he's sooo good blowing up assets, when you come behind him and empty 7 shotgun shells into the back of his head in six seconds!
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...................................

ok Scar-L is kinda bad. its less accurate than the G36C and it looks like crap 2 (i know its not important but better cool and dead than uncool and alive ). i couldnt find any advantages over the G36C yet, ok it has a bit more power but that doesnt help when it misses 3/5 bullets.

JAckhammer is nice and could be an option. i come o another option later.

MG36 is great even though nott as powerful as the PKM but you have a higher rate of fire and better accuracy, wich is one of the major setbacks on the PKM imho.

i figure you have SF too so you will get 2 unlocks when you reach 20000 (or am i wrong?).
cause most ppl forget the MP7 for the engineer wich is very good and also usable over medium distance. thats why i hate engi since i cant kill many ppl over lets say more than 30m distance. to bad i took the JH and not the MP7 and the bloody SCAR-L wich i never use.

You will get two unlocks at 20000.
IMO, the Jackhammer and MG36 are both good unlocks. The Jackhammer can shred people in close quarters. The only real drawback is that it only has 7 shells per magazine (why didn't they give it 10 , like in RL?). The MG36 does less damage per bullet than the PKM, but fires faster and is more accurate.
The MP7 is also pretty sweet. You run out of bullets really fast though. I swear that thing must shoot 900 RPM!
I haven't used the SCAR-L much, but it is less accurate than (I think) all of the other Spec. Ops guns.

Yep Jackhammer is the thing to get. I like using it to get rid of people who think they can knife me but instead die of 7 shots. I'd prefere it if the Jackhammer was like the DAO and reloaded shell at a time and not have a clip. Basicly the Jackhammer is the same as the default engineer shotgun (u know, the one that looks like an AK-101 but converted into an auto-shotgun) but ALOT more powerful.

Thats tight, I didn't even consider i get two unlocks with me owning SF. This brings up a new discussion lol. Well, I really dont want the SCAR, I have used it, my cousin has it, we both hate it. Like one person said, its just boring. I think I deffinetly want the Jackhammer after using it a little today, But now I don't know if I should choose my 2nd one being the MP7 or The MG36! Decisions lol

Hi, I thought this was important enough to actually register for finally. You HAVE to choose the Jackhammer!! Why? Because it is so unique. It is the ONLY auto shotgun. DAO is nice too, but not like the Jackhammer is. I got chills first time I picked it up off a dead guy and played with it. Other reasons... you can play the MG32, which I like even a little more than my PKM, any time you want on SF SAS maps. Just Play as SAS and you get it if you want, so its not even really completely locked to you. MP7? Ick. And if you really want I think you can play that on SF as SAS too, but I'm not sure cause why would I ever try? (I do seem to pick it up off of dead guys a lot.... AFTER blasting them with the Jackhammer....bwahahahaha) Oh, and distance shooting with the Jackhammer? No, thats how I got my vet pistol. Thats what pistols are for in that kit, use em.

Get the Jackhammer and MP7
Don't even bother with the SCAR-L, it is a horrible gun. I regret unlocking it. I should have gotten the MP7 instead.
The MG36 IMHO is not worth it. As support class you are not looking for accuracy, but power. If you want to be effective at long ranges be a sniper not suport. For what the support class is meant to be (providing cover fire). The PKM has supreme power, the M249 SAW has supreme speed, the Type 95 has speed, the RPK-74 is balanced. The MG36 has the speed of the RPK-74, and the power of the SAW, from experience. (I may be worng tough).

If you play engineer, then Jackhammer is a must. CQB is so easy, although get ready with the pistol, cos it takes ages to reload. However, if you don't play engineer much, then SCAR-L It is accurate and the scope helps with those long range shots. I always use this weapon if I'm playing as Special Forces and Jackhammner if Engineer.

Haven't unlocked mp7, but small calibre=small damage. Haven'e unlocked MG36 either, but PKm is usually fine, unless you specifically play Support alot.

I think this is a wise choice, although the Jackhammer + MP7 combo sounds sexy as well

If I got the Jackhammer + MG36, I would Have these guns total:
ALL the original BF2 guns + F2000, G36E, MG36

What do you guys think?

yeah but its not caring about body armor. i nailed engineers easily with that little beast

anyway i would suggest that you go into a SAS map in SF and give the MP7 a try.

anyway you cant really go wrong with any of those 3 guns (JH. MG36, MP7) its just a matter of personal preferences.

I've not used the SCAR-L or the MP7 and quite frankly, I'm not minded to. The Jackhammer is nice and so is the G36 (all variants).

I really like the MG36, myself. I find I get more kills than with the PKM simply because the fire rate and the accuracy are better.

Hmmm I have the Scar-L and the MG36, personally I'd go with the Jackhammer. The Scar L looks awful, sounds awful and is not that much better than the G36E, whereas the MG36 is awful, I've not used it much because of its low damage rate and horrible accuracy. For example, if you stan 2 metres away from an enemy and without using the sights just let loose you are very unlikely to hit him. This happened to me, the guy just turned around and shot me straight away I felt mocked. Overall the PKM is better than the MG36. So to conclude Jackhammer.

I used to be engineer alot, now i'm usually support. The MG36 is great in burst mode..you just have to get the hang of it. MP-7 pwns. from the looks of it, it seems like a P.O.S, but i tried it out and loved it. Havn't tried the Scar-L cause i tried the Scar-H and didn't like it . Jackhammer is somewhat better than the Dao cause it reloads by clip, not bullet (Faster reload time). it just doesn't have as many shots as it needs to actually take someone down and still have enough ammo to keep going. overall, playing SAS, i'd say go with the MP-7

hmm that also always happens to me with the PKM, without sights the PKM seems to shoot in a right angle but never straight.

Remember that you cant use the SF unlocks on SF. Example, you unlock the MG36 and play as Insurgents on Warlord... no MG36 option for you. Only SAS get SAS weaps on SF. You can use it on any basic BF2 map as any army, but you can use your basic unlocks, like the Jackhammer, anytime anywhere. I think that is relavent to your choice too.
