My idea for a kick ass BF2142 movie.

It will be based off the bridge defense scene in Saving Private Ryan. We would shoot it on one of the bridges in Minsk or maybe Verdun. We would have to assemble a crew of 64 players. Now, I am not really familiar with battle recorder or any of that stuff, but I can edit whatever footage is taken. I would take the raw footage and somehow transfer it to my iMac and edit it on Final Cut Pro. Anybody interested?

Possible problems: Voice over work (we would have to get people on a teamspeak server and record them saying their lines.)

If this project is attempted it would take a very long time to complete. This is just an idea I am putting out there. If there are any people familiar with Battlefield film making, contact me.

i loved that scene, especially when the P-51 came in and killed the tiger and the Captain thought he blew it up with his .45

i could help you with ideas, actually doing it is a problem for me.

2 teams. one team falling back to the bridge while one team is pushing forward. they get pushed back and are about to blow when all the sudden some gunships fly overhead and everything ends happily.

edit: If I wanted to do a WWII theme I would sure as hell not use BF1942. Probably forgotten hope.

none of my friends like battlefield at all. they think it's dorky.
I could probably do the voices my self. I can do really good accents.

64 people, all on team speak? OOOO FFS thats not going to work very well now is it! You would need to cut numbers mate in order to make that work, OR have some guys help you organise in seperate channels what everyone is going to do, so I think you need atleast 3 other guys to explain what you wish to acheive and they can relay what your saying to the other actors. Trying to address 63 other people asking you to repeat yourself, or getting confused just wont work. One guy incharge of 20 or so needs to come into play here, you need help at that level. I would love to help but I think times zones may be an issue , when where you planning on doing this?
