Combat Efficiency Pin While Dead

Talon: Stop reading this and look at my post; +341|7205

Interestingly for a pin that you get for getting 5 kills in a single life, I got it while dead. I lobbed a grenade it someone, got killed by somoene else, and get the fifth kill. Pin. If thats not fucked up, I don't know what is.

Perhaps you were "critically wounded" and thus still alive when you got your fifth kill?

You weren't killed by that person yet. You were critically wounded. There's a difference.

You aren't technically dead until you respawn (a medic could revive you).

If it says: "You are dead" no medic can revive you, only when critically wounded !

How come it counts as a kill then? You could die and your 5th kill may live but you've got the award. How ironic would that be?

I've gotten a couple while being out. You're not really dead until you get a death added to your KDR and a ticket taken away. Sometimes it'll say you're dead and you'll still get revived... which doesn't do either. The Kill streak only ends when you respawn... (or rather, when you die then are forced to respawn.)
