white fusion put the ram in the right wat around and then Reset the CMOS this may help, i had the same NO signal problem after a piece of ram fell out when the computer fell over!!!

Try it if it doesnt work take the products back which are fried and say you bought them and they dont work!! dont mention that you had an acident just say that they werent wat u wanted ( its was for a crimbo present) and then get money back and order from some where else!!!

Tried old graphics card, dont have other monitor, but the smoke came from inside the computer. so it must be inside. Mobo, processor?

well also ur ram is under WARRANTY!!!! DONT FOR GET SOO UR NEXT RAM IS GOING TO B FREE! and if ur motherboard is still under warranty then ur all good (bc all companys have a year warranty)

I know, I get you. What I don't get (as I'm studying a stick of DDR here), is how you managed to fit it in. Its KEYED for God's sake.
