Help would be greatly appreciated.

I was playing Gulf Of Oman the other day. We start at the beginning of the round and we do alright. For a good 75% of the time, we have more capped flags than the enemy, but the end tickets are 120 them and 0 us. So we're thinking to ourselves, "Hmm, ok we suck so let's win the next round baby!" Ok, maybe only I was thinking that.

Gulf of Oman full 32 players ranked round TWO! I cap the first two flags and start defending for a bit. Then we cap another couple of flags, and boom they only have 1 flag and we have 4! We have a 4 to 1 flags advantage for a good 40% of the game, and about 3 - 2 flags advantage for the rest of the 60%. So for pretty much the ENTIRE round, we have the majority of flags capped. Yet in the end, they have 35 tickets and we have none.

What the hell? Damn flags!

Just like in Karkand, sometimes USMC can still rounds by not even capping one flag.  Please help explain.

Exactly Ive seen some maps on Karkand where the MEC has 2 medics..
Everybody dies, theres very few revives, therefore the MEC loses all of there tickets very quickly, Often you can also see where the USMC Takes the flags too fast and leaves only the MEC's last spawnpoint on the far side of the river, the bridge is blown, and then resulting standoff allows the MEC to win even though they hold just one flag.

Defending flags costs lives, lives are tickets.... so you've really answered your own question . Medics can win a war if they're quick off the mark.
