This isn't entirely true. You can tell when someone is a pro when you cannot, no matter how many times you try, knife them. I've chased down some players who turn around constantly, use drones and UAVs, and work as a team. They are very hard to knife.james@alienware wrote:

Am I missing something I don't see what's the big deal in this, I mean if you run behind someone and knife them it doesn't matter how high ranking they are...they didn't see you, it's nothing special to me.
I'd say the true sign of knife leetness would be a mix of your combined Knife KDR and Total Unique tags.
I see lots of the top100 on the knife leaderboard have knife KDRs below 3. This leads me to believe that either: 1) All the do is knife and they suck at not getting knifed, or 2) they play on P&K servers were everyone uses a knife. Timsad, the leader of knifing, has a great KDR, but has a low Unique/Total DogTag Ratio(which leads me to believe that he only plays one server).
So, as a reponse to the origional query:
Many of the top100 Overall are, in fact, very good players. Taking thier tags is a thing to be proud of.
BTW, I have a guy from FMJ who is #22 overall.
