BF2S Forums servers preventing forming squads?

The story goes I joined a server made a squad with a couple friends (we wer all using clan tags), three other players joined the squad making it full. The players who joined us were good and worked well with us, as a result we dominated the shit out of the other team. We had the gold, silver, and bronze medals at the end of the round.I told everyone to rejoin the squad the next round, however I was unable to make a squad, nor were the other people I was playing with. I could join the only squad there was, but couldn't create one. Does the server admin have the option to restrict the formation of squads? or was this a glitch? any help would be appreciated! Don't know if it matters but it was a ranked server.    thank you      bonedoc69
