http://www.channel4.com/news/dispatches … _home.htmlSean Langan witnesses the bloody battle to retake the strategically critical town of Garmser in Helmand province. Overstretched and outnumbered, are the British troops fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan? ..

Only sports/some news.
You really are this way aren't you? I mean, its not an act, but you are serious about the things you say in your posts. Fox News is that offending, but not the other news stations.CameronPoe wrote:
Hardly watch any television. If I do it's generally comedy or an interesting-sounding documentary. When I go back to Donegal though I watch Fox News avidly because it's so jaw-droppingly worrying and enraging (not the best reason but I just can't help myself).
I'm not a communist. I believe in a form of capitalism that has a goverment-constrained social conscience. Basically - I believe in the way Europe does things. I'm not some beret wearing 'comrade'. I don't want to be the same as everybody else and I certainly do want to get ahead in life. Fox News is offensive but then so is CNN on the flipside. They're as bad as each other. What gets me is the brazen propaganda, that's all. The fact that it is so utterly brazen.Major_Spittle wrote:

You seem so socialist you can no longer enjoy a free society. Ever think of moving to Cuba and working on a plantation so you could enjoy the fruits of a socialist society. If you can hold out 10 more years you could just move to the US to enjoy a truely socialist society without having to learn Spanish, doh, my bad because you will need to speak Spanish in America in 10 years.
The Young Ones, Filthy Rich and Catflap, and the ultimate - Bottom!Bertster7 wrote:
Almost all TV is rubbish, but there are some great programmes thrown in there as well - I usually miss them because I watch so little TV I don't see the adverts that tell me when they're on.
Recently I've been watching a lot of old comedy stuff, mostly the New Statesman - It's sooooo good.
What do you mean 'But' ? I think you'll find that's why it's rubbish...commissargizz wrote:
LOL same here in the UK. A lot of it is American. But it's still rubbish.
