BF2S Forums problem with rank advancement

I'm currently a private first class and i have 650 points in the game and it said i reached lance corporal, but it hasnt shown up in my profile yet, and i havent gotten my gun unlock.  I've heard you have to reach 500 pts for lance corporal but obviously im above that.  Please Help! thanks
