Hey im getting BF2142 today i so excited ive been a die-hard BF2 fan and i got to 2ndLT. There seems to be less classes but which one should i use. I usually like to get up in the action and get tons of kills and most of the time own. So should i use Assault,Recon,Medic,Engineer?

Assault = Assault and Medic
Recon = Sniper and Spec-Ops
Engineer = Engineer and Anti-Tank
Support = Support

I play them all evenly, but my recon time is a bit higher than anything else. Support is the only one I don't have veteren on, but working towards that now.

Assault would earn you a lot of points because of the guns / reviver etc but I often come first in the round with the recon kit.

edit// I am a second lieutenant gold and I have 17000 points and have really only been playing for the past 3 weeks as when I bought it, I hated it but now love it.

Action = Assault(You got your own medkit and you primary Rifle is pretty good specially on the PAC team.
Support = This also works good and you can snipe with the Support weapon except for Shotgun, also you shouldn't lock up the new MG as it's worse than the primary weapons.

Recon is more of a sniper imo but it do go the Lamber but still you can't refill your ammo nor your health so stick to any of the 2 above.

It's not really that much easier. It's just that get points for awards and such plus there is a shorter gap between the ranks now there is nothing wrong with it. Ranks really ain't everything in the game, it's about having fun and screwing around. :3

Assault, in my opinion, is a very useful kit - although it is not good against armour, it is superb against Infantry and FAVs (Fast Attack Vehicles). Oh, and the defibrillator is useful - USE IT and your team wins.

Exactly. I love driving FAVs into walker's legs and blowing myself up in the process! Oh, and RDXing yourself up onto a roof, failing to get onto the roof, parachute doesn't open in time ... Splat!

But if you want to rank up start off using the Support kit, the gun get more accurate as you shoot it. 40 points to your first rank.
OR use the Veteran Program that EA have got on the main Battlefield Website to get up a rank instantly (enjoy the unlock ):

Assualt for action, when you get the Lambert Recon is close and same goes for Engie when you get the Pilium and Support when you get the Clark.
