I have a 7600GS, 2 gigs of RAM, 2.80 GHZ dual core processer (I think). Right now i have all high except lighting, 1280x1024, 4x AA, no dynamic shadows or dynamic lighting and low texture filtering. I want to know what settings i should be running at. The settings i have right now im playing pretty comfortably but i feel like im lacking something.

thanks

Whatever looks good and gives you the FPS you want.

Uhm, the lighting really adds a lot of quality ... I have a 6800 2 gigs of ram 3.0ghz Dcore and I run all high settings (even lighting/texture filtering) and I think 2xAA but it might be off. Anyway, the game looks really really nice. But if you turn off the lighting/shadows settings, it doesn't look too good ... like you said, "Something's missing"

IMO, turn off AA (or make it 2x) and crank up the lighting and filtering.

BTW I get like 50 fps steady even in 64 person karkand

Look, there's no set rules as to what settings you should run with whatever kind of hardware. Some people choose to have all the eye candy turned on, while others prefer to get the best FPS possible. In the end it's up to you to decide that settings you want.

the settings you are currently running at sounds quite high for a 7600gs, i wouldnt sujest any higher as fps drops do occur with lighting etc.

I have 1 gig of ram and 2.8 Dcore and a ati radeon X300 128mb. With my crap gfx card i only put effects on meduim and lighting and shadows on medum and View Distance on 100. I think the game looks pretty good with effects and lighting and thats all i really need.

Dynamic shadows/lighting give you something pretty to look at, but when it comes to areas like...sharqi construction, you cant see shit...so keep them off

AA is a killer for your fps, tbh I would switch that off and turn the lighting and stuff on, though its six and half a dozen really, you loose something to gain another, chop and choose till you get the look and performance you want.

Exactly - I hate people like this - Why don't they do what 99.99% of other people do and find out for themselves? It's not exactly that hard to do and tbh with the setup you can pretty much run them at all high minus the aa and lighting shit.
