- What is the best headset for gaming with TS?
I just have a mic standing on my desk and some cheap ass headphones that sound well enough for me...
Preferably a USB - Last longer and easy to use.
I have a tacky Plantronics headset but its durable and strong. That's why it was so expensive.
Don't go for look go for durability.

they're really good and they haven't broke for a year. Plus they're pretty cheap.

Powerwave headsets, though depending on your ear size they might get a bit uncomfortable for the first few times you use em, but they have excellent sound quality and a good mic for a pretty cheap price.
I have a Sennheiser PC155 usb.
It is perfect! Then again...it was £75 (and that's not even full price).

I guess I gotta get used to them though because the $75 ones I originally bought don't work at all anymore.
There really doesn't seem to be too many durable ones. The Razer ones look badass though, might invest in those soon. http://www.newegg.com/product/product.a … 6826153002

That is the model that I have. I use them at home, and take them to work for sound. They are very dependable. Other then the foam around the ear cracking, and the top part of the foam breaking they are great. I have not been nice when traveling with them, I place them in my backpack, and it gets thrown around all the time. I am suprise that they are not completely broken yet.

Love 'em. Cheap as hell, but the mic works really well even when the 5.1's are blasting (as they tend to in BF2) -- Can't stand the wrap-around style for speakers -- but I've never used them as headphones either, so...

At least I think it's the same.
I use the Medusa 5.1 and in my personal opinion they are the last word in surround head phones. If you haven't got a pair of these then i urge you to buy them you wont be disappointed. Although they tend to be a bit more expensive than most but the expense is well worth it. And may i add not just for gaming either, coupled with a decent sound card it will enhance your music listening pleasure ten fold. I cannot tell you how many times they have saved me from getting knifed in the back.

Don't know about the quality of the mic as I've never heard myself talking over it.
As good as the rest of the Medusa.Snipingruven wrote:

I have these too and I love them! I haven't had one single problem with them. Plus the fact that they're relatively inexpensive is a big plus.chuyskywalker wrote:
