Typical.
Heard this on the radio earlier.
All of that only so they cant be sued if somebody was to sit inside a washing machine and drown. Idiots.
What is the world coming to

Every weird warning label you find is from some lawsuit that has taken place. It's not in case someone might sue them, it's because someone did. The Idiot here isn't the company that made the washer, it's the people that sue over everything.Snake wrote:

As I recall, washing machines already have safety cutouts in case of someone falling in. Mythbusters had to bypass loads in order to spin Buster in one.
Yea, unfortunately things that have warning labels on them, are because someone has been dumb enough to do it before.
sadly there are people in america who get "sue happy" the second they have the chance.
i have to make EVERY customer of mine sign a waiver before they purchase one of my knives that basically says im not liable if some asshole stabs himself or someone else, or whatever dumbass thing that would happen.
its pathetic, but thats just how some people are.

I dream of an immunity law where companies can't be held liable. The planet is overpopulated as it is, and if some ass drown themself or thier child in a washer.....GOOD. Evolution at its finest. result: removed really dipshit genes from ever reproducing. Darwin Awards FTW!!!!!BolvisOculus wrote:

WE need no warnings what so ever. Is this hot AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes it is!
LESSON LEARNED
Is it loaded? KABOOM! hmmm .........not anymore!
Stupidity needs no warning. Stupidity should be left to take its course...we will all benefit
solution: common sense hearings. before a lawsuit can take place, its submitted in writing to a panel of smart people, who then decide if the lawsuit is valid or just plain retarded.
Never under estimate the power of an idiot with a lawyer.
And if it is retarded they get wacked with a $1000 fine for wasting their time.Ender2309 wrote:

The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

I begin to like this idea more and more. I'd do one little change though: instead of it being a $1000 fine, why not just make it that the retarded person has to pay whoever they are suing the original amount of money they asked for.Spark wrote:
