Hey, I'm interested in making a video on Bf2, Can someone please explain where to get the best program to do this for me such as camtasia for example.
If battlerecorder is whats used most, how do I get it to record online games thaT I play, do I need some sort of file? If so where do I find this program. And also, what program is best used to edit vids ?

You need FRAPS to record footage off BR, just to run a BR file the only thing you need is BF2 and the demo file you downloaded from your community tab, and I would recommend Sony Vegas 6 or 7 to edit it.

For Battlerecorder, just play on servers with Battlerecorder. I'm guessing by your codeseven. tag that you're in Europe? Play on TV2 servers, they all have working BattleRecorder. Then just open the file with a program called BattleDirector:

And use it for recording with FRAPS. The best program for editing is Sony Vegas, but that's expensive. You could always pirate it though. Windows Movie Maker works well for editing basic things though. I'm not too experienced with movie making, so hopefully someone else can help you

Right, now when I try to download a frap from bf2 it doesnt work, will this battle director program allow me to download these files?
And Also, where can I find FRAPS

you can get fraps at ... www.fraps.com ...you can get the "trial" version for free....however..it only allows u to record 30 secs at a time...but if u buy the real thing...u should be able to record for as long as u need to...
