I mean really!! It's so bad for your score!! I've been in situations where im stuck in the water like 10 mins away from the carrier or land, but still i like to preserve those 4 points you lose...

No just kidding, my real question is how could someone commit suicide, i mean, once you live your life thats it! Worst case scenario you run away from home and freakin get a job at a gas station in another state, either way, you could eventually be happy again!! I've never felt a feeling strong enough to make me kill myself, i wouldn't consider that a solution to any problems. Has anyone here commited suicide before?

you will never no what those people go thru unless you do yorself, mostly caused by depression it is a horrible disease. I no of at least 3 close people to me that have done it, the last being my cousin 2 weeks ago.
I personally have never contemplated doing anything like that but have never judged them for doing it, sumtimes the pain is just that great n they find the only way to rid it is to leave this earth.
I wish i new what went on with suicide so that i could help, or least try to help people that are close to doing it.

Don't you mean attempted suicide? Anyways,there are people out there in this world who can't deal with sad feelings or don't want to.So they might see suicide as an easy way out instead of talking about what is bothering them.And thats where VOIP comes in handy.If someone steals your plane or runs you over before you can get to the choppa,just take deep breaths and count to ten or talk to a team member over voip.


Seriously though,unless you've just seen your parents naked or accidentally ran over a kid on your way home from a 3 day drinking binge,don't do it.

I have no respect for people that commit suicide. They are amongst the most selfish people on the planet. They never think about anyone else and they leave everyone behind sad and emotional. I swear if any of my friends commited suicide there would be no sympathy at all.

honestly, in my life i have deeply considered it. i've had so much shit happen in my life. (i know others have had it worse than me) i've had quite a few people very close to me pass away. i broke my back and had major surgery which stopped me from being able to get a football scholarship. couldnt play any sports which were my life. plus many other things. it just seemed like everything that possibly could go wrong, did go wrong. life just sucks at times...
but i have a couple close friends and i figure its worth it to be alive just so i can spend time with them.

most people who commit suicide are severely depressed.

you have to realize that depressed people aren't right in the head and aren't able to think logically. of course a normal person knows that things will get better, and that it will cause other people a lot of pain if they kill themselves.

the point is that suicide victims aren't normal people.

Well, I tried it once. Suicide is not the act of a coward; it's the act of a desperate person who wants to stop hurting.

I took up rock climbing pretty hard core, trying to kill myself I guess, and I found out my lust for life and will to live were much stronger than any pain I had ever felt.

Somehow I think if any of you had any idea of what it is to have those feelings or at least known someone close to you that is going through it you wouldn't treat it so lightly or wityh any sort of humour... fools.

I occasionally suicide when I fall out of the Blackhawk on Wake. It's easier to wait 15 seconds and then wait for a new Blackhawk ('cause that one sure as hell isn't getting to the beach) than to swim ashore and get mauled by a tank.

@ ATG: Well said. I don't like how people think that suicide is the coward's way out. No coward could ever kill themself.

@ Arkhon: Not so. You can't be sad about it forever, eh?

People who kill themselves are depressed and in pain. It is a way to stop them from hurting. (Granted, some people are lame and kill themselves over minor things, but Darwin tells us these people won't be missed.)
