Guys just wondering how is the MP-7 in actual usage.

Thumbs up or down? Cause I was planning on getting the MP-7, if it wasn't any good I was gonna go with the SCAR-L, but only if it wasn't worth it for engineers. I generally don't play Spec-ops anymore but I didn't wanna waste my SF unlock. (btw I am definately unlocking the jackhammer for my next normal unlock)

The MP7 isnt very accurate, but it fires very fast. Scar-L is basically the M4 except different looking. Definately get the Jackhammer if you play Engineer a lot. Thing is a killing machine. Make sure your always concious of the amount of ammo you have with it though.

The Mp7 is an awesome gun to fire, not sure about how good it's performance is. The rapidness and the sound of it firing make up for it not being too accurate. It's like a shotgun that can be used at mid range, but isn't as powerful up close... if that made any sence.

i prefer the scar l great accuracy shoots quickly and inflicts more damage get scar l unless like what ambitionz23 says if u use engineer more than get M4 but if not scar l for sure, maybe look up tips on different bf2 sight so you can find each good qualities.

I tend to dislike SMG's but the MP7 could kick the punch. I still prefer the G36C over SCAR-L.

It's the other way around with me. Before I got my first unlock (the DAO - because a lot of people said the DAO was the best improvement over the standard class weapon compared to the other classes) I was quite fond of the SMGs. But for some reason I can't stand the MP 7???

mp7 has onbe advantage: being an engineer, u can fight also in midrange (u cant with shotguns). I often use it when being an engineer, but I always need almost a whole clip for one enemy...

Yeah the only reason I unlocked the MP-7 was to have the ability to fire at longer ranges, but I'm not too sure it's any better than the Jackhammer or the standard shotguns.

I think the MP7 is very accurate... Test it when you play SF as SAS... I like it that you can shoot a bit midrange and you dont have to worry about stuff When I have it (when I play SF as SAS) then i just go and shoot the whole clip down on ONE enemy and I can be sure that hes dead. I quite like it... But I love the SCAR because its accurate and has a nice little laser scope
