I am playing Bf2 and want to use my Sidewinder 2 joystick.

After installing it appears in game that my left - right roll and my rudder are inverted. The game leaves no options to invert or de-invert a joystick, only the mouse, in flight control settings.

Any suggestions on how to tackle this??

And yes, it is possible the answer is given in another topic or thread, i did not read them all. I scanned the subjects though.

- "If you notice that your plane or helicopter isn’t turning as you expect it should, remap the specific axis pushing in the opposite direction you did the first time! It usually takes me two tries to get it right for each game because sometimes they screw up the axes!"

In other words, go back to the BF2 options controls section, and remap each axis that is currently inverted. So for the rudder, select rudder left and turn the rudder on the joystick left... That will sort your problem.
