Happened a while ago once, it was like a female semi-computerized (sort of like someone talking through a bad connection on TeamSpeak or Vent) voice that said 'Coolbeano'.

I thought it was like someone starting a voice chat or something, or maybe I miss heard some video I was loading, or something. I look through my MSN, my other messengers, I look at the video, replay it, nothing.... I look around, and remember that I was alone at home. Creepy.

It happened again just now. A distorted female voice, distinctly coming from my speakers. It said Coolbeano again, this time sort of a question-type way, like "Coolbeano?". Made me think it was someone asking for me (I was just starting up my internet and connecting to everything) but I checked and there was nothing. I'm just like wtf for a few minutes.

Anyone have any clue on this shit?

Seriously, no shit now.

I just got home damnit. I've been out too much.

And White Noise was about EVPs. I was looking for more of a logical explanation, like some Microsoft Samantha or something that reads out the word that I accidentally activated and deactivated at the wrong time. Or something.

edit: and Cougar, my computer is way too old to be hitting on me. But I have been hearing things from my red iPod Nano...Oh wait that's just music.

Thats what i was thinking because when my grandma was little she remembers somthing pushing her in the pram/stroler wateva u call it, and that in that house people died in it in world war 1 or 2 sounds wierd but yea..

Okay let me rephrase my question.

Is there some kind of REASONABLE, LOGICAL explanation to the computer making (not me hearing, but the computer making) these sounds? Like, perhaps, some auto-voice thingamajig. There were instances of the text Coolbeano when I heard it, like in titles/forum login whatnot.

Shut up with all this weirdass other worldly shit, the sounds never freaked me out but now because of your bullshit it just might start to.

Had the same exact thing. It's malware. You need a good cleaner or format if you don't have one. I woke up one night hearing a commercial on my pc that was supposedly in suspend mode.

1) Firefox sucks, Opera pwns.

2) Coolbeano is written all over all my pages. Logged in name, welcome messages, several forums, etc.

3) I haven't used TS nor Vent for a few months now.
