Ah, I have a very absent mind, and indeed it is nice to shoot down an unsuspecting tank. My favorite time was on Wake Island and I was in a Tank (Admitting I love Armor) Anways, this chopper comes swooping down barreling rockets at me, but misses because Im in the trees, I smoke screen, roll into reverse and turned the turret around to face him as he is coming for another run. I placed a tank round right on him and he is smoking bad, i jumped in the turret and finished him off and he blew up in my face. I dugged for cover in the turret. It was freaking awesome! Which I had fraps/Battlerecorder

Shotgun shell in the face of sneaky-wannabe spec-ops when I'm commander, and conseguent t-bagging.

Btw, why spec-ops trying to destroy commander toys are always noobshit ranks with horrible score and k:d ratio?

i take out commander assets whenever i can. Im not a noob nor is my rank low. Unless its a noobish 15 minute long trip to an uncap to do it then its useless.

You can Pistol whip in this game?? Alternate fire button? I never knew it...

I must agree, when I know damn sure I am the reason the team won has to be the best reward.

I also love the reward that comes with commanding, and im a good commander and I love observing fights and I love spotting a guy and watchin the little pawn run over to the flashing red dot and slay it. I also love observing Armor battles and dropping Supplys on my guys and they win the fight and heal back to 100%, And the best of all, and im sure alot will agree, Squishing Soldiers and Destroying Choppers with Cartillery . I invented it you can't stop me !. lol

Battlefield 2 is like war man. In a war, theres always goals its not always to kill as many ennemies as possible. You talk about teamwork, make a strategy with 2-3 squads members go try to pick-up the last flag of the ennemy when they all spawn at the same flag. you will have teamwork to do plus if you good enough, you're gonna have a couple of kills before they kill you.

I must say, its a blast to take out those attack choppers that way. But it freaking suck when someone decide to drive the jeep elsewhere. Damn i hate  my teammates when they do that


my favorite part of the game since a couple of weeks is jets. its so fun when you can fly those things 20min straight, flying over your airfield seeing your teammates waiting for you plane. Escaping or taking out the USSEX with MG. You little vehicules driving with fury  and skill to get that forgotten chopper on the helipad. I dont even waste a bomb for you since only 1 bullet can kill you. And there is always the good old dogfighting ine the sky. But even if im in  a jet, i still need a little something more to make my game experience so great:  a good commander who does his freaking job! Its not hard, you make a scan, theres a 2 armors  heading to squad Alpha at Power Station, but you see that jet passing by the Vista Point heading to Woodyard, spot the jet then  the armors or whatever. Trust me, a good jet pilot can take both jet and tanks himself or even if its 1 of 3, the jet pilot will have his kill and he will have helped his friendlies on the ground.

The most rewarding is a bit like Deadmonkiefart, but i dont mind is i wasnt the most usefull player, but when I finish a round with a K.D ratio of 15:1 or more or even better, the very few times I did a perfect game (0 death). It happens maybe 3 or 4 times yet since i fly but i remember the last time when we were only 2 waiting for the jet and the other guy let me have it telling me i deserved to fly it again, i kinda feeled good. Respect is something not very present of multiplayer games.

Well said indeed. I was playing Ghost town a few days ago and me and this guy called UICnDubble were in the apache, we didn't die once the whole round and he lined me up for TV-missles EVERY time. Now thats teamwork.

Sucsessfuly taking out a tank with an SRAW without the tank noticing me.
C4'ing an alley and watch a whole SQ come rushing around from the Karkand Hotel wanting to cap the square. BOOM! their hopes and dreams die.

I think the ranking/medals stuff has kept me playing, but figuring out things for the first time is nice too like:

-Dropping claymores around a flag will get you a flag defend
-Getting clayed at a flag sucks, so I stopped

-Spawn raping is great to get points
-Getting spawn raped sucks
-Getting spawn raped or spawn raping is boring...find a new server

-Trying to cap any of the following in a tank is dumb: Sharqi Alleyway, Dalian Maintenance Bldg, Fushe West Mine Entrance or East Mine Entrance, Ghost Town North & South Flags, Mass Destruction Junkyard, Surge Rebel HQ
-Trying to cap a flag in a tank attracts planes & helis
-Getting out of the tank does not attract planes & helis
-Getting out of the tank to cap the flag does not attract air power, but it attracts the other team to grab the tank and kill you
-Staying back from the flag is the best way to cap it - let others do it
-Getting out of the tank to cap a flag...put C4 on the tank to prevent carjacking
-Groundpounding is more fun

-Shooting ground troops with the heli machine gun is fun
-Shooting the air to air first, even if unmanned is the best way to not get shot down

-Getting c4 jihaded in your tank sucks
-C4 ramming kills you as well
-Jumping out allows you to C4 jihad, if you don't get shot
-Putting C4 on a jeep is a good way to teamkill
-C4 jihading is fun, if you don't like points

-Avoid support they got a PKM
-PKM is a great way to kill people
-PKM is a great way to kill people if you like 1 clip=1 kill
-PKM only hits people who put their fingers in the barrel

-China maps are long and boring
-Flying on China maps gets you shot down a lot
-Fly on China maps only in selected areas
