College Problems.

Hey guys, right now I have a problem, I'm not a legal resident in this country (no, I'm not a Mexican nor Middle Eastern for that matter) and I have my residence papers already in, but the process will be 1-2 years, I have just 1 measly subject left to successfully finish High School and Get my High School Diploma, thing is I want to go to college next year but I'll have to apply as an International student, I'll have to go back to my country, get a student VISA and get back here, the problem is, if I finish high school here in the U.S. and get my Diploma here will it be valid when I apply to College? (will my High School Diploma be accepted?). I'm curious about this.

I'm no lawyer but that sounds right to me.

If you earned the dilpoma here, they should honor it at any University. They will ask for the rest of your papers about being a resident alien, etc.

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

I'm supposed to be here on vacation . However I'm going back to get my I-20 Visa (student Visa), that's my problem, will the college still accept me knowing that I finished here high school as an illegal alien?

yeah they should accept you in some cases as long you have the valid information that you can stay in this country. yeah they'll accept you just provide the high school name where you graduated from I dont see why wouldn't they, just have some kind of visa or something when u get back and give them the $$ and they'll accept you.

I have a friend who's still a canadian citizen and finished high school and college here and still works in the US. As long as you get the papers you need at the time, you'll be all good. I think you'll be fine. I don't think Immigration's beef is with the people who want to come here and do something productive.
