Hello everybody, I don't know exactly if this is the right place to post this so sorry. I was wondering if somebody knows how this and other websites pull the stats from the EA servers. Do they have an open API or something because I was looking but couldn't find anything. I wanted to make a little site nothing big like bf2s just something to learn a new programming language. Thanks.
First of all you have to have your certification as a master magician.....then wave your magic wand! Just kidding. What I know is that it is all too high tech for me and I am just grateful as hell for those that do so that they can provide me with hours of enjoyment when I am not playing BF2.leTus wrote:

I think you have to have permission from EA.......thats my best guess sorry.

First of all, I am using an XML feed from EA that is not available to the general public (yet). This means that evern IF I gave away my code, you couldn't use it anyway.
Yeah but that's him I know at least 4 more sites that pull the same information and I don't think they use the same feeds chuy does or at least they got them somehow.
you're right, there are other sites that use other feeds. i think that http://bf2stats.nsvr.info is one. dunno, maybe email those guys and ask them about it. sorry, i am of no help
