You were proven wrong. Live with it.
Every game tested on the ps3 and xbox, the xbox was proven to have quite a bit higher framerates.

Yes I will admit that the PS3 has not shown its full potential and most first generation games are still to come. But this already shows that the 360 is steamin' ahead.
The PS3 has a lot of catching up to do.

Does that also include splinter cell: double agent. The framerate of that game was very poor.

Advantages.

1. Blueray.

The blueray disc can contain much much more data that a normal hd dvd disc as the xbox360 use.

2. The cell.

The xbox360 does have 3 processors.
But the ps3 has the cell. That is 7 processors in one. The cell is about 40 times more powerful than a normal ps2. And no way the xbox360 is near 40 times better than the ps3.

3. Graphics card.

The graphics card of the pc3 I think is a 7900 512 mb graphics card. While the xbox360´ card I think is a 256mb.

The ps3 is better. Many are just afraid to go agains microsoft.

Sorry but yet again. You are talking shit. Developers have admitted that they arent using the full power of the PS3. Wanna know why? Because it uses a new form of programming of the processor. Im learning MIPS atm and that just crappy mobile phone processors and that is coplicated enough. A processor like that in the PS3 is in a world of its own.

But the fact that the PS3 is £550 is bullshit. And they are far behind, they need A LOT of catching up to do. I would never have bought the 360 if the price was not as steep for the PS3.

Sony are criminals. So are Microsoft. But in terms of money, they are lesser criminals.

Yet again absolute rubbish. Its about what you get for your money. Technology wise the PS3 is a steal. The xbox360 uses incredibly crude hardware.

When they announced it they said it may be between the region of £300, so I guessed they were hoping to sell fast and get more profit. Now they put it up to 550? Yeah right. Sony dont care about their customers, because either way, they know they will make a lot of profit.

Just to put things a bit in perspective, if I was offered a PS3 and in return I had to give away my Xbox, I wouldn't even hesitate. But frankly I don't have 650 ( including games of course ) to spend at any moment in time.
If I did, I would have preordered the PS3 by now.

Well if they fixed every problem with the last version then there are definently new ones unless it's just oblivion...it is an amazing game with a bit too much..*looks around* sorry i was attracted to this post...but since i have the right to post i can submit my opinions. I think things can only be solved by people who really have lived their lives off of games and have a ps3, wii and 360 (which all rhyme, kinda scary) a 360 owner arguing with a ps3 owner is definently off balance as there will surely be bias..ness. I only own a 360 but i am not obsessed to not admit it has some problems. I agree totally about the whiners statement, and i view those people as life's...n00bs. My 360 does not heat agressively but will heat itself and the disc to an uncomfortabaly warm temperature to cause a bit of worry. They made the second one quieter? to hell with that mine occasionally gets quieter but then i immediatley save as its most likely going to freeze. And no im not a n00b mine IS horizontal and my room is cool enough but even if it was hot, for example, i played for less than an hour and its fan/drive/ whatever that noise is got to about a PC volume and it froze.

Sony atm makes -£150 or something on each console. So... bollocks to what you said above.

Yeah so uhh a bit out of topic but other than oblivion and Gears of war what game should i get next for my 360? 'cause my computer is already falling behind again and i paid 200 bucks to upgrade it last year...damn it if i had PCI-E...the best vid card i can get and the minimal someone can use for BF2 is the geforce 5700...god i hate when it's referred to as a "low profile" card...so what game should i get, preferably one thats going to last, of course it doesn't have to be as long as oblivion lasts. I was disappointed with the shortness of Black for the PS2...got it for Christmas with resident evil 4 to squeeze what's left of the PS2 before there's no more games like the Playstation...(R.I.P.) and PS3 obsessors, please don't comment biased or at all if you have no reasonable comments...

Try GRAW or Rainbow Six.  I have tons of fun with both.  You can't go wrong with one of the Call of Duty's, either.  Lost Planet is coming out tomorrow, it's been the most downloaded demo on live and it's quite good.  There's quite a few upcoming games that look good too, if you find a few to hold you over.

Thanks but i can't karma people...gotta post some more...I think oblivion causes my 360 to freeze because it only does when im opening doors, starting conversations mostly and other actions...it should pre-load audio info...its annoying when the drive gets super loud just so i can hear my character grunting before a charge attack
