Just wondering if anyone here had an unfortunate name.

When I was born my mom wanted to name me Ogden after the poet Ogden Nash. My dad said ,"No way, the kids will call him oggy-doggy." So they decided on Grayson because it meant son of gary and my dad's name was Gary. Well, I don't know what they were smoking but how my Dad got Oggy-Doggy from ogden but was unable to forsee Gayson from Grayson is beyond me. Anyone else here cursed with an unfortunate name?

my last name is Allison and at school when there is a roll call coz i am at the top of the list my name is read first and with teachers having extremely low iq they say allison i then correct them but they get confused and keep asing if allison is here and telling me to be quiet.
i once thought that teachers had to be smart to get there job and atleast know how to read....
