Well, I decided to try out my old Logitech Wingman Attack 2 joystick in BF2 (YES, it SUCKS, I KNOW, it's ancient...), so I plug it in, go into the options. Update all the controls fine and dandy, roll left/right is left right and up/down is up/down on the joystick.
Or so the options tell me.
When I go ingame all the buttons work but not the stick itself. When I'm not touching the joystick, or holding it in place, my plane drifts down and to the right. When I push it left, it drifts down and to the right. When I pull up, it drifts down and to the right.
In other words, it won't do a SINGLE goddamn thing but drift down and to the right. It's completely non responsive I got airborne ONCE in a Su-34 by some fool's luck, but I just drifted around, flew out of control, and plowed into the ocean. Completely non responsive.
The usual attempted takeoff:

Gaah! I remember using this stick with Microsoft Flight Simulator a while ago, and it worked fine.
