Well recently my computer got connected to a network, however when I test my connection speed I get at least around 2.5mb. The problem is I am not able to join "most" of the servers, I get a massive ping. Is there any solution for this problem? . The servers I am trying to join are located in the UK, which makes it wierd.

Note the massive Ping on the servers
THANX for any help

Nah I am using the latest drivers, thats not the problem.. I think!

The strange thing is that I can join the same servers and I get a nice 20-30 ping!

If you recently got connected on a network, there's probably people hogging your bandwidth. You still get good speeds because that won't affect the speed, just the time it takes to send packets back and forth. ie: high ping. Is this at school? if so you are fubar. If it's at home, tell people to stop downloading torrents so you can play.

My home is near a company, I asked them If I can have a line, they said its ok, but of course I can't use any torrents ect..  Atm I doubt there is anyone using the computers, and I am still getting this ping!
