Localization+Sniper crosshairs

Alright, I'm messing around with my loc. files a lot lately and my friend brought this up:
He wished that the sniper, without being zoomed in, had crosshairs. I don't see the problem in this.
Does anybody know where the files for that are, how to access them, or how to get the crosshairs?

Any help would be appreciated and Karma will be awarded to anyone usefull!

P.S., If any of you say stuff like "Zomg, EA wilz liek b4n ur azz cuz uz i ta h4x!" Then I'm ganna find out where you live and give you money for being handicaped, then slap you for being an idiot.

P.P.S. EA Says that it's against the rules to:
1) Give ammo while inside a blackhawk
2) Switch teams at any point in the game
3) C4 Chunking (?.?)

It's hard coded into the game, without the use of third party hacks or modifications to the game code (IE mods) you can't do it.

Having a crosshair for the sniper pack while being unscoped would be quite an uneven advantage. You have to figure in that the power of the gun (Taking anyone to 2 notches of health) is weighed against the fact that you have to scope it up. Every server would be full of sniper-infantry.

I say if you have the skills to modify your game then do it.

PB will be on your ass if you change it but good look.

That makes being a sniper pointless and require no skill.

But if you reaaaly want the crosshair, just put a reinforcement (you know, the white rings) on your screen. Also works with the rockets.

EDIT: Those rules are stupid. Why can't you switch teams? If you are losing round after round, you can switch if you want, it's your right.

thats just what i was about to stay. all the weapons in that are rediculously accurate.

That would be dumb on so many levels. It doesn't matter what EA thinks because PB will kick you so fast it will make your head spin, not to mention the fact that all sniper rifles are extremely inaccurate when unzoomed and moving, so even if something was dead in your cross hairs your shot could land feet away from them.

You realize that would be useless right? The sniper rifles are very inaccurate when unzoomed.

have you even tried shooting at someone with an unscoped sniper rifle? it's so innacurate that even if you did have crosshairs, you still wouldnt be able to hit them. unless if you are 1 or 2 feet away from them, then you can.

go play goldeneye source for HL2 for a few days, it doesn't have crosshairs so you can get used to just aiming your screen.

Ehh.

How many times have you gotten ambushed as a sniper, and had to switch to your pistol, but only fast enought to die AFTER you took it out? Wouldn't it be easier if you had crosshairs for your sniper without having to scope in?

Think about it this way: The other guns have iron sights. The sniper has a scope. Any good player could use the scope like an iron sight to create a crosshair.

Even with crosshairs you won't hit anything. Unscoped sccuracy for the Zeller is worse than the Ganz's, even before shootin off a few rounds.
