2142 is good.
It's much better than people give it credit.
I thought it was shit due to thoughts and i was in love with BF2. Then i got it.

It's def. Worth getting.

Bf2142 is not as bad as people say. I still play Bf2 from time to time.

ill tell you this right now. Bf2142 does not have the same kick in terms of fun factor when it was released than Bf2. WHen i played Bf2 for the first time a year ago....it literally blew me away. now i play 2142, same crap, people do the same tk's all over again, not much has changed 150 years from Bf2.


weapons: hmm not all that great as they say it would be/

titan mode: too much lag even with DSL, people whore the vents like its crack

kits: well done for the most part

unlocks: probably the highlight of the game..more to choose from as you go up in rank. probably the only good thing i like about the game .

awards: not much has changed.. it does not even have nice decriptions on it. bf2 had at least a small paragraph decribing each award.


squad system: better than Bf2

graphics: not as great as people say it is.. looks a little bleached out. if battlefield games require a killer computer with killer hardware, how in gods green earth the graphics look like someone dumped  bleach on the models, colors, textures, shadows and so on.

2142 feels like a mod more than a new game...might as well call it : Battlefield 2.142 instead of Battlefield 2.

It really is better than people say but I have it & never play it. Played like 60 hours & then just quit. For some reason the crosshairs really f*cking bother me. At first it's cool to be able to jump 2 or 3 ranks in a single round but when you really step back & think about it it's kinda lame. I dunno, if you have the money I'd say it's probably worth it, at the very least just to find out if you really like it or not. Some people love it.

Btw I think all the stock guns totally blow, the support gun is nice but I hate everything else.
