I know that my problems came about after updating my drivers, video and sound. Try installing BF2 with basic drivers and not updated. I think that was what was screwing me over all the time. Finally had to disable part of my updated sound drivers to get it working againMagikTrik wrote:

I think its an incompatability issue myself, relating to video or in my case, audio drivers. The manual uninstall seemed to do the trick for me but I also had to rewind to previous drivers on both my audio and video cards to do it.BigmacK wrote:
