Well thats weird cause I check the temp on vid card and it was fine. And when the round was over it was gone. I don't know what happened still...
Something similar happened to me last week, turns out a clot of dust was preventing the graphics card fan from working so the card overheated.

Something similar happens to me when I play BF:2142 on high, the game totally kaks itself. But it's over the whole screen.
The only way I can fix it is by putting graphic setting on low then turn it to medium. Or by turning off the comp and leaving it for a while.

no no no, its due to emp, i have had it a once or twice, say you are in the titan, and there commander emps you can sometimes get that, also happens when your commanding, and you watch your emp from above... its only happend since the new patch to me

I had that whenever I saw someone(or had a) sniper rifle. It was weird. Another time was that all my weapons turned white?
i didnt see the picture, cos it wont load, but i had a case of in the titan, everything, absolutly everything, other than doors and players, was black. couldnt see a thing. i'd changed my AA settings, so i just knocked them back, and it was fine

If people are scared shitless enough they are going to put this race in the next patch.
It also has it's own unlocks (implemented for those of high ranks) these unlocks are:
Bunny hopping FTW!
Dolphindiving HAX!
WallHAX0r
And the weapon unlock is the ability to acces and control the silo's. When a silo is under their control they can guide the missile whereever they like (a bit likethe redeemer on Unreal Tournament).

Hopefully this helps those of you that have tried everything else. My computer was having this "artifact" video glitch ever since the BF2 days. I tried everything from wiping my video drivers to trying a different upgraded video card. Eventually I would just take off the side of my tower and it would not happen for a while. That gave me the idea that it was a heating problem. Not being too fluent with computers I went to my tech guy at work with the problem. I ended up upgrading my case to a Cooler Master Elite 330 Black ATX RoHS Case (C283-1138), upgrading my CPU fan to a Aerocool High Tower 101 JR Socket A/478 CPU Fan (Q131-3310)and replaced the heat sink on my north chipset to a Cooler Master Blue Ice Pro North-Chipset Cooler Fan (C283-2027). Basically, a new case with superior cooling (2-120mm fans) an upgraded CPU fan and a fan on my north chip set. It worked! I have not had one artifact or discoloration and even better performance! What I think was happening was the way I had my tower set up. I have a Pent4 2.6, 2gig ram, 512MB ATI 1600 pro, 500 watt ps, 6.1 surround. Again, not being too fluent with computers, the way I saw it was my CPU was working too hard. I have the G15 Logitech Keyboard that registered my CPU working at 100% whenever BF2 or 2142 was running. I have all my settings on high with no Anti-Aliasing and my sound setting on low (which I feel is the biggest performance whore). Again, I hope this helps even one of you out there with this disgusting video problem. By upgrading the cooling for my CPU, chipset and overall tower, it fixed this problem for me for around $100....TigerDirect! Hopefully BF2S doesn't think i am advertising. I just want everyone to have a great gaming experience! :) Just helping and giving all answers to my problem/fix, hopefully in one post.
P.S. I love the BF franchise. No matter how long those potheads at EA take to get things right! I am one too!
