Let's suppose you are on a server with a low to moderate amount of people and you find that nobody is commanding on your team and you're getting ticked that the enemy UAV is always over your squads (hence they have commander and you do not). So, you decide to become commander and yet also have to be a fighting commander due to the number of players and number of bases in the game.
So, you're throwing up UAV and dumping supply crates to help out your team, all while attempting to cap some flags and kill enemy to boot.
Up comes the mutiny vote for you to not be commander any longer.
So, in my mind this just meant that somebody else wanted to command. 'Fine' i say - go right ahead. i even post a message about it in text chat. So after i resign, nobody steps up to command and we end up losing inevitibly. indeed the original complainer was actively playing until the end of the round - he didn't get disconnected or was AFK.
So what gives here? I'm all for allowing anyone else chance to command and what not but when they call a mutiny vote and then don't become commander, then what was the point? Further, why not just simply ask the player to resign with team chat text message. isn't this quicker to do than to navigate those silly menus for the mutiny votes?
your thoughts?
