Just got one of these to expand storage....


I connect one of my old IDE drives up to it ..... when i connect the drive to the pci card as Master jumper settings, everything is fine until around 30 seconds into windows then it hangs.... if i set it slave it doesnt boot at all.

Any ideas?

Can someone tell me how they would install the card, just incase i did something wrong. It says something about  a seperate BIOS... on boot up it is recognised as a RAID controler, but i see no sing of this seperate BIOS that says it detects the new hard drive
