Reload glitch...

One of my main hobbies in life is hunting, and I know from real shooting that this is not true. If you reload in this game, with any amount of bullets left, even just one, you put in a new clip and pull back the hammer or "cock it". This is not necessary to re-cock it or pull the hammer back because a shell is already in the chamber and ready to be fired, this slows stuff down and I think it should be fixed! The only way you should need to pull the hammer back is if the chamber is empty!

EA won't do anything about this - it's been around since Battlefield 1942. The only way you'd have to cock the rifle is if you wasted all the rounds in your clip - if you stopped with 1 bullet left, it would be in the chamber and you wouldnt have to re cock.

I'm pretty annoyed by this too, for two reasons. One is that it takes a while to reload, and the other is I like to always have a full clip, and when Im more than halfway down in a clip I reload (habit from americas army video game). I kinda want to have my near empty clips for later on - like, if whenever you reloaded it put in your fullest clip first, until all of them are empty.

I spose if you did this though, it would make it a lot harder for people to get resupplies...

Hahaha. Yes I am a thug. No dude i just find it funny, that probably 90% of users on the board, that cut a wise ass remark, wouldnt say it in real life. But I guess that is what makes it fun on here right? Its all just fun and games, later man

actually im a smart ass in real life too, but noones attacked me yet.

And what do you want me to say? sure the guy has a point, but EA hasnt even fixed the teammate appearing red bug yet. They drag their feet on everything. i doubt the realism of reloading is high on their to-do list.

And PS, if you actually feel like physically injuring me for that comment, you need to chill the hell out.

hmm... forum users so rarely admit fault and apologise... I hereby strip you of the assholery award! well done. you're right: it is all fun and games, and i shouldn't go mouthing off either. i just get a bit frustrated when people take the game (and this forum) so seriously that they would actually threaten anyone (which, as you say, you didn't really intend to sound as much like that as it did. so, yer, i'll shut up now).

I thought it might be about somethign i've been experiencing recently: my gun keeps reloading TWICE before I can fire. It plays the reload animation, but when it ends I can't fire, instead the reload animation plays again

It isn't also very normal to reload if u have a few bullets in the magazines, i don't think that soldiers in real life reload after shooting i.e. 2/3 of the magazine
