i used to never have able to fly planes and choppers, and u know how i learnt it?
haha! i was influenced by the new movie 'Stealth' and decided to fly the planes in BF2 again.
so i went to singleplayer Operation Cleansweep, to practice. AND I FLEW PEFECTLY WITHOUT A JOYSTICK
and the hitting the target---never drop the bomb when the target is right under u. thats too late. after u click, it will have a little delay, so drop it before u get over it, like when it is just between that target aiming thingy and the end of your flying screen. although i sometimes still miss, 70% will hit.
Also, u have to get close to the ground, not too close, cuz the bombs u drop will blow youre plane too

mate the official method for bombing a tagret affectively is: where the vertical line intersects with the curved horizonal line is whre the bomb will hit, speed does play a part with the accuracy here but a little tweeking and you'll be sweet. good luck and happy bombing!

Bombing is definitely something that grows on you. Sure, someone can teach you a technique to accurately land your bombs in 1 situation, but you really need to practice practice practice to get a good feel for when to drop them.

Sometimes you can dive bomb them, and land all 5 bombs in nearly the same location. Sometimes you want to spread your bombs out across a 50 ft. line to hit multiple targets. Sometimes you want to let go of our bombs while rolling, to hit something off to the side that you can't get a line of sight on. Sometimes you want to make sure you bombs hit deep inside a building entrance, which requires pulling up a little bit as you drop them.

There is no single technique that shows you how to bomb in all situations, it just takes practice and getting to know them. Make sure while you are practicing to switch to the front camera so you can see where your bombs are landing behind you. That will let you get a better feel for how they work. Also make sure the way is clear in front of you before you switch your camera, so you dont go running into a mountain or something. Also practice flying low when bombing multiple pieces of armor, to ensure your bombs will hit more accurately across a longer stretch of land. Keep in mind, 1 direct bomb hit will take out a T90/M1A2, so you don't need to drop all 5 bombs onto an MBT to kill it.

Then the next challenge is learning how to bomb so your gunner gets some good shots off too.

You can also check with f11 after you drop your bombs to see where they land. You can see easely if you re dropping them too early or too late so you can get your timing right.

Edit: there s no handbrake in a plane matey, its prob a good joystick with a twist handle I m using a microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2.

If u cant get the bomber but u still would like 2 bomb. fly about 4 a bit b4 u bomb find either a load of men a jeep or a smokin tank. Dont drop ur bombs on a non smokin tank or apc because u wont get the kill.
