Where's the difference between MX500 and MX510?

Well, since I've recently read about overclocking Logitech's MX500 USB port to 1000MHz, I wonder, if I could do the same with my good ol' MX510.
Could anyone please tell me, where exactly (except for the surface) there's a difference between these two mice?

I'd also appreciate, if someone could tell me how to change the clock of my USB port afterwards...
