Updates Question?!?

Hey guys, Ive been playin bf2 for a while now but never at home, always at a "computer cafe" type place. Because of this Ive never had to update BF2 or anything like that and i just recently bought BF2 and SF...sooo my question would be where can i get all of the most recent updates for bf2 and the like? preferable quickest and easiest way? Also! is there any specific updates for SF? or is BF2 1.41 all?

Install BF2
Install Patch
Install BF2 SF

You might be able to but I'm not sure. If your way doesn't work, uninstall them both and reinstall them the way I posted. I just know that my way works, but I dunno about yours.

ok...well theyre both installed and i havent updated yet but im getting an error message when i try and login with my account..."the server has refused the connection." any ideas?

If you bought the deluxe edition you have to install BF2 & SF together so it's ok to patch once after the install.
You probably have a firewall blocking you like rabee said if that's the error your getting. I'll look around a bit anyway though.
What firewall do you have on your puter?

norton on the comp. thanks for the help by the way..i appreciate it, i would have also assumed it was my firewall or something like that but i was able to connect to BF2 before...so maybe its SF...i dunno

Does your internet go through a router?
Make sure Norton allows BF2, BF2 SF and Gamespy. I'm not sure about gamespy actually, but allow it anyway...
Who is your ISP?

Ah HA, fixed it...the login error...in case anyone is curious...when i installed SF it re-prompted security measures and i guess i didnt configure it...so i had BF2 configured but not SF...so it was still blocking it anyway...problem solved! now to do the patches!
