BF2S Forums Yeah Me!!!!

I've been working on getting my overall KDR to 1.0+, but I've been trying to fly too much and I still sort of suck at it right now, so I'm dying alot.

Other than that, my only goal is to get my vanilla and SF badges/ribbons at the same time (like I went Med expert in the same round for both... yeah the OCD is showing!).

I aim to have a KDR of 2.0.... now it's only 1.63

I've got more deaths than kills - yes, i suck.

Congats dude; KDR of 1 is a good mark for us mid-range players to set ourselves. Not easy with everything but if you play the right way it should be within the grasp of anyone with adequate reflexes and a bit of brains, i.e. don't run straight at the enemy just because the other kids can do it... play smart, not hard.

I loath getting killed by them too, always gets a "Noooob toober!" from me when it happens LOL But that's no reason not to aim to improve yours; just use it in the right circumstances (again, play smart) and it should be cake, especially since you can get more than one kill per 'nade if you're lucky. Practice offline (or on unranked servers if you prefer) to get the knack of aiming down, without it impacting your deaths.

You have SF, I'd suggest playing it more; this'll really help get some of your ratios up with all the roof access and zips/grapples. A good example of this is carbines, not the easiest one to improve given 90% of the guys you're facing are armed with more powerful weapons, but playing in SF should really help with that ratio since you can zip to rooftops that don't have ladder access and from where you can use the carbines' great accuracy to advantage. Don't overlook opportunities like an SAS lockout on Warlord to camp and 'snipe' the incoming parachutists, or the roof overlooking the palace security office when enemy are trying to break out from the palace itself.

Noob Tubes, or Grenade Launchers as i call them, are an offensive weapon of the assault kit.  I hear people saying that it is a useless kit, yet when one succeeds with it by effectively eliminating the enemy we are marked against as a less skilled player? 

With the Nerfing of the GL it has become much harder to dispatch of the enemy, a simple shot at the enemy's feet no longer works, now you must actually aim, adjust and correctly hit the target, and they think it is a lesser skill to say, playing as a medic or sniping?  How so?

its frowned upon because its an instant kill? so the fuck what, headshots are instant kills are headshots frowned upon?

But why are they frowned upon? Its a 90% chance of an instant kill, but so is running at some one with a DAO or a M117 at point blank, but yet this is not frowned upon.  Or mid range against a G36E or long range against a sniper, all not frowned upon.  So why frown upon a GL at point blank?

It is merely another why of the Assault kit, theres a reason way it doesn't suck, yet it is still labeled as the worst kit.
