Just look for any other cooler out there that's about 45$... Thermaltake Big Typhoon, Scythe Infinity, whatever. Also, I can hardly imagine that a water cooler with not even a 1000g will be effective - I mean, what's the volume of cooling liqud that you normally pump through such a cooling system - and more important - compare this cooler's radiator to others... Meh, mustn't be good - better rely on air cooling...
Its still got to have a fan on it so your not gaining anything from noise reduction and with processors being cooler per clockspeed than any other time you will see little, if any, gain over any other good aftermarket air based cooler.
Blah, they really mess up with the thermal grease. affects their CPU temp. badly, I think
PS: Ever heard of putting your components into an aquarium and filling it with liquid silicone? With a heatspreader added, that's also some sort of overkill ;D PPS: How well would an X6800 do with that nitrogen cooling?
Try using liquid nitrogen as the pros do! (It's not THAT expensive)

The heatsink in the OP looks kinda cool though, if I wasn't water cooled I'd check that out just on looks alone.
I have a modified version of this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6835118016 The stock VGA cooling block wouldn't fit my 8800 so I got a different one, I added my own water pump too & the actually radiator itself didn't seem too powerful so I had my cousin crank it up a bit (i have no clue what he did though). Did you mean cooling period or just normal cooling/heatsink products? I can't remember exactly how you asked & I've already typed too much to hit the back button
Zalman has the best fan on the market been tested, especially the new now 9700, its the best fan there is for the processor cooling.
There's nothing special about Zalman except the quality... Meh, look at their cooler design - where the tips of the fan blades go is the highest gap between the cooling fins, this effectively reduces the overall heatsink potential, assuming that heat has to go as for the furthest point of the heatsink to be effectively blown away - remember, the heatsink fins are not as effective as heatpipes as far as conducting heat is concerned.
