alright guys,

this isn't really about weight gain 4000, but it is about weight gain.

i've recently quit smoking (new years), started running for 15mins 3 times a week, work out every night for around 30 mins (weights, sit ups etc), and massively curbed the amount of junk food i eat, which is hard because the work vending machines are damn cheap

but thro all of this (been doing this pretty much since new years) i've gained three quaters of a stone????

i was 11.5, now im 12.25

anyone else get this??

Muscle weighs more than fat Don't worry about it, weight is NOT an indicator of fitness, 12 stone of muscle is not the same as 12 stone of fat is it?

Not really used for mass gain (but there are some effects). Creatine is used more to repair muscle quicker.

you're one of those band wagon guys.  Just cause it's xyience, doesn't mean it's the best. Just cause it has the largest price tag, doesn't mean it's the best.  All this shit is practically the same.  I'm getting the best gains right now from a $20 bottle of Creatine Ethyl Ester. Just know, creatine strength levels dont happen overnight. Creatine saturation within skeletal muscle usually takes a 8-10 days from what I have read.  Maybe even find a preworkout NO powder (No-xplode, Xceed).  I take 3g of Xceed pre workout, then when i get home, I take 3g of CEE and a protein shake.  After you workout, you definately need to get those muscles some protein.

And lift your brains out, eat right, and you'll turn that fat into muscle.  Don't overdue abs, cause you don't need to kill them, just shock them.  And do legs, legs are important.  They help build core strength, especially squats, deadlifts, etc.

its because you're using weights. the weight gained is muscle mass, which weighs many times more than fat.

You see, it doesn't count when you stop with 1-2 hour breaks.
