I joined the BF2142 EU Server, and I always get kicked for high ping. I mean I'm part of the community and I'm probably the only one on these entire forums who plays on a server with a ping of 200 - 300.... I don't have servers like you... with nice low ping, no lag etc. I'm just so freaking pissed. I need a server were I can play on... and I would love to play on the BF2142 EU server in netherlands....

Please guys, I want to continue my BF2142 carrer...

Ooo, you live in China, hmm ...
For some reason I live in the UK and don't lag at all on American servers.

Browse around, thats the only advice I can give you. Your ping may look crap though. Find a certain country server that you can deal with without too much lag.

To make up for this mess, have some Karma

But even if I join a BF2142 server in Japan they kick me ... and I always try to tell them that I live in China and tht is very close.

But I just need to wait for 2 more years of china, shanghai... then the UK, the US, or even Netherlands ... Ihave no idea....

Edit - Or try countries next door to you ... I suck at Geography ... whats the closest European country to China? Ain't it Russia? Oh I dunno, but just look around and you'll find a server that you like

That sucks.. I live in Belgium, so (most of the time) I get a decent ping on server in the UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands..
Weird though that you have a high ping in Japanese servers. And how about Russia? Don't they have BF2142 servers?

Am I lucky the server is +-30 km from here, anyway, sucks 911, but we have a ping kicker of 180+ to help the players that are on the server to have a nice laggfree time.

I m afraid there's not much we can do about it in general. I m in charge of the server settings and i set an auto-kick for pings over 180 to keep server- lag and crashes to a minimum. Its a bit of a compromise to give forum members from outside the eu a chance to play with us. We ve got even people from canada and the us playing on our server. I m afraid china is just too far away.

Its cool to hear you would love to play on the eu 2142 server so i m gonna make you an offer. I m offering to make an exception just for you for 1 day and i ll turn off the auto-kick for pings so you can play with us. Because of the 7 hour time difference between the netherlands and china, i m suggestion to do this next sundag the 14th at 1300cet. 1300 cet is 1800 china time if i m not mistaken.

What do you think 911?

Edit: If all goes well sunday, maybe we can do this more often...

K. will do .. and I just found an awsome server where my ping is 29 - 40 ... It's based in hong kong after almost 1hr search. But still i'll try to make it on sunday ... I promise ...

Hey 911, it was nice playing a couple of games with you. I guess you had to leave after 2 rounds cause of your 600+ ping. I noticed you were even getting kills, was it playable for you at all?

China is pretty tight on what it wants own citizens to see or hear so it doesn't surprise me that they ban teamspeak but i dont think it will stop anyone, but glad you found a good server to play on because 600 + ping is silly. i get annoyed with anything near 90s.
