congrats m8, i too have just boosted my KDR above 1 lol, most recently my AR stats. Next I'm gonna go for my assault, engineer, anti tank and spec ops, in that order. I mostly play for SPM more than KDR though, so if that means medic whoring so be it

I'm aiming for a 1.0 kdr but its taking its time, Im going through each kit individually

I actually just started using the AK-101. Never really gave it a chance before but it finally hit me, that if so many people love that weapon maybe I should try it out. I'm not great at the longer range accuracy yet (hope that gets better) but for short to mid range that thing is a freaking power house.112505 wrote:

About the noob tube...yesterday I was playing Karkand and there was guy running around with one and he kept killing everybody with it. I must say he was a good shot. I don't really use it much tho.

When I first started giving a crap about my k/d I think I was at about .77 and it took me about 9 months to dig out of the whole. But once I hit the 1.0 I've just kept climbing. Now I'm not satisfied with a round unless I finish 2/1 or better.1927 wrote:

The deal with the noob tube (GL)...and the deal with claymores, the G36E, nades, etc. There's a couple common explanations to why people look down on these weapons. First, you have people that can't use those weapons effectively but seem to die by them constantly (this is why I hate the GL, I can't use it well but it seems everyone else can.) Second, you have people that really think these are lame weapons because they are too powerful or too easy to use and require little skill.
Personally, I think if you find a weapon that is that effective than that is the weapon you should use...which is why I use the G36E a lot...starting to go for the AK101. The people that bitch are usually just bitching because they can't use that weapon as well as they want to.

That's what I did too. Got my overall k/d above 1/1 and then got all the kits above 1/1. Unfortunately I did most of that in vehicles (mainly chopper and jet) so my ground pounding was horrible. Now I'm trying to get my individual weapons to 1/1.Gilmourish wrote:

I admit, my weapon ratio's are just as bad, not an surprise if you count all the deaths from getting raped while waiting for an vehicle. But im an vehicle whore, i dont play much infantry. But when i play infantry i can easily get an ratio of above 2... so ratio's dont say anything.... just like my helo and jet ratio: if you are flying and let your gunner get all almost all the kills, you wont get an high k/d ratio. Same counts for bombers.

Claymores are intended as an anti-infantry weapon. But you're talking to the wrong person anyway since they're a major part of my preferred kit and I use 'em constantly.Longbow wrote:

Im trying to get my overall kdr 2+, and my Sniper rifle kdr 3+ .... oh and a 60-0 kill streak aswell, as a sniper. (got 40-1 today, so its doable i think ) Those are my goals right now.

I'm fine with the GL even at very close ranges. Let's say you go past a corner and there are 4 people. With the GL it's possible to kill instantly 1 or 2 of them, and THEN start the fight with a full clip. That's the whole point of the assault kit.
The real lamers are those who shot with the GL, miss, start jumping frantically while trying to reload the GL and don't even pull out the rifle.

The way i see it is if its in the game, USE IT (jumping to avoid fire). I hate servers that have all these stupid rules like dont spawn camp, no bunny hopping, take turns for vehicles (too many ppl stand and wait doing nothin)etc... It drives me nuts to beat a guy to the jet or heli, take off and then after a while you die and when u respawn that same guys sitting there waiting. Meanwhile we have no bases, the other team is kcikin the crap out of us and then he bitches about baserape.
I also hate servers that are not allowed to base rape. If u baserape they kick, but if your on the crappy team, suddenly they start baseraping. And if u complain, they call u a whiner. A good server that i like is LegionAtWar or Eat@Joes. They're pretty relaxed, just play.
