Ok, so i wa playing in Oman. Anyway, I was driving a btr-90 and killing everybody. Then, I run over 2 claymores, and I blow up. i was in perfect health. so, did this happen to you?
Not personally, but it's featured in many guides, so I guess it's a common bug/tactic/glitch/error.

I was having a weird game the other day. I was in a BTR and there was an Artillery strike. So what, arty doesn't do shit to armour. So I'm sitting amongst it not taking damage when I die and I look up at the screen to see

i had it a few times where ive been drivin the linebacker the artys hit kills me but not the linebacker

maybe the arty hit the blackhawk, which then crashed into your tank?
i was attacking a mate yesterday with a cobra. before i could hit him, a jet took me down and scored a teamkill, because my wreck fell down on my mate on the ground...
and another day, i killed the crew of a chopper, by shooting some rounds of the havocgun at the cockpit. the chopper wasn´t really damaged. i just emptied it and it sank slowly to the ground. the guys didn´t believe it and called me a cheater the rest of the round... it seems, like sometimes the damage caused by weapons go through armor, without damaging the vehicle.... welcome to bugfield 2

Not true. APC's get raped by the miniguns (if the heli is sat still on the ground ). Did it to a spawnraper on Cleansweep the other week. Was awesome.some_random_panda wrote:

You can actually kill them, by holding the trigger before it overheats. Load up a SP version of Songhua and try it. Ive done that a good few times to unsuspecting APC's online
On topic: Ive had a jeep killed by a claymore before now, but certainly not anything bigger like a BTR.
