Nothing.
ok what does vanilla mean. The original? or a mod?
original
Ice cream?
20 maps is ALOT to pay nothing. I'd say $10 or maybe 5€.
I'd pay $10. The same as the booster packs would be fair but then you would have the same problems of not enough people having or playing the new packs. I wish they would go ahead and give away the EF & AF booster packs in a patch, just so they could be fully integrated into vanilla. That way the maps could be used in rotation without some people being being kicked.

I would pay even 20 euro for 20 new RANKED maps, but only if it's on CD in stores - not like the booster packs, that was a stupid idea of selling them online only!
>>>BF3 Central<<<
I got a booster pack CD box that had Euroforces and AF on one CD. Installing was just like a patch...

where would they get the maps? 20 is a lot for the inhouse team to make in one go, apart from that theres all the user made maps and Im not paying for those.
well i think they have all the graphics to maps ready, just change litle skins on building make new ground for all ,not a big job at all...
Only if they are fun and people play them. They could release 50 maps and it wouldn't make a lick of difference if no one played them. Yea maybe once, but then it's back to playing what people normally play.
A few new maps would be nice though. No more expansions or boosters.

Not really...I just play AF to whore the A-10..everything else in the game sucks.gene_pool wrote:

so theyll release 20 poorly made maps hurried out the door to meet a deadline, no thanks.....id rather have one or two well made, well thought out maps than 20 crap ones.soalfa wrote:

I remember looking forward to the new jalallabad map but feeling very let down seeing the same mosque model from mashtuur - they could have changed it a bit. Thats how games get 'samey' and run out of steam when no new model resources are added, you can reskin them to death but its still the same model and we all know it.
Unfortunately, anything more than free will run into the same problems the expansion packs have. I think they should release a few free maps with patch updates
Yes, adding a new map to each new patch wold be the best.
I bet DICE have more than enough unfinished maps lying around. They could pick the best ones and overhaul them.

In Europe (here in Austria at least) you could buy an empty box with the unlock key. No need to buy online.Nikola Bathory wrote:

BF2 cost me £20.
Boosters cost me £5 each.
Boosters came with 3 new maps, new content, weapons, vehicles etc.
For 20 new maps with no other new content, I expect it to be £5 (additional maps in compensation).
Id pay £10 at the absolute most.

Do you work for EA or DICE?
