Xfire help

ok when ever i log onto xfire after 5 minits whatever game iam playiing will crassh eather that after my inter net wonte work and i have to unplug my routern then p,ug it back it 4 it to work again. does any one know how to fix this???

my specs are Amd 3800+ 939 2 gigs of ram anda an x1650 Xt if that helps any i have a 160 gig hard drive to

Do you use the game broswer to join the game or use xfire to join the game?

idk but I have never had any luck joining a game through xfire.

Maybe reinstall xfire?

You can play for more than 5 minutes before you crash without xfire, right?

If so, try to re-install xfire.

yea with out x fire i dont get CTD only the usual ones but with Xfire i get them ever 5 min u can set a clock to it! Or if i open it with MSN it will crash my inter net then i have to turn off then turn my router back on 4 it to work

I only join games through XFire. There shouldn't be a problem.

Check to see if your firewall isn't allowing things to go in or out for xfire, or something along those lines.

Maybe if xfire is trying to send out the IP your on, your firewall dosen't like it and closes your internet connection. Or maybe not. Just a guess. Good luck.

Go to Tools > Options > Games, click Battlefield 2, and tick the "Disable Xfire In-game" box.
