Bah, I'm just having a little vent so never mind me. I went on some 24/7 Karkand server (which had RANKED in its title) or another last night, with the intent to get my Veteran First Aid badge, which was easy, 10 heals in a round. Next round I figured I may as well play go for my Veteran Anti-Tank badge, which I also got. So I figured while I was on a role, I would try for my Basic Knife badge, which I've been without for quite some time. And I got it.

I played for a while longer, racked up lots of score and went off to bed. Backt o bf2s this morning, none of my achievements showing, so I figured it just hadn't updated and went off again to play some more. I came back, waited in the queue until my stats updated, and the rounds I played today showed- but everything I got last night didn't Bah.

I guess I'll just have to try again

did you finish the round?

i got lance corpral 3x and rushed off to get my unlock each time and didnt realize i had to finish the round...
got that with vet engi combat and air defense, but i think that may be related to spec forces

most of time i go on, get mi badge, and get off server before it has even finished, most of the time that doesnt matter, probably the server itself

you dont have to finish the round to recieve awards .. the reason you didnt get the award is becuase the server isnt reporting ... why? i dont know ..

There are lots of servers that say ranked that aren't.  You may notice the number of servers in the ingame browser jumps around from time to time as EA cleans up unrefferenced servers.  If you have a server you can make it ranked, but if you aren't an official EA server the stats just dont go anywhere.  This is not an isolated incident, I have seen this many of these.

That may actually explain something thats happened to me a few times... I'll get onto a server and start playing and suddenly I'm awarded Basic Assault... AGAIN!... I've had it for months and suddenly I'm getting it again didn't make any sense... and this may be why, a non reporting ranked server.

Well, it was 'Karkand 24/7 superserver.co.uk'- I went in again and asked if anyone else has had same problems and a few people answered saying nah, they got awards/promos there and it showed up. So I just spent the last hour or two doing it all again from there, obviously if it doesnt update this time, more fool me and I'll just have to get on the official servers and do it... again, lol

as far as i know if youre ever on a sever with your rank then its supposed to be ranked... all unranked serevers everyone is pvt .. so when youre on a server and youre pvt gettign basic awards its not that that server isnt ranked its some glitch i think in the account server or somethin

i have had that happen alot and once i loked at my stats and then played as a pvt on my account and the stats DID report so dont assume you can fuck around =p

Ah ffs, so my stats didnt get updated again. Oh well, stick to the official servers, I shall.
