What file sharing software should I use, I tried limewire before some viruses come with it, and the rest of the p2p file sharing I'm kind of leaning toward bit torrent and torrent spy and I used Azureus :BitTorrent Client, but torrents as far as I know are mostly for video files any information would be helpful thx.
I use emule I wish I could be arsed to do that torrent malarky but Im shit at techno stuff and Im a bit scared. Old Skool I think is what best describes me.
Frostwire or any of the good Torrent app's do me well enough

I use DC++ or Apex, but they are just LAN sharing software. So I doubt that helps but for external i use azureus torrenting.
I use azureus and i just got mad at my sister for downloading limewire on my pc >(

For torrents I'd recommend G3. I've been very happy with this program so far.

i used to use limewire, but its so full of useless crap now, you have to download a song half a dozen times before you get a good copy.
I changed to utorrent last week and its great!. Used in conjunction with www.torrentspy.com you can find virtually all u need.

I don't trust free download sites for music though, so I just buy the CD and rip it how I want.

They dont allow users to upload stuff so its free of fakes, nukes etc. And they have releases off all TV shows I ever had intrest in.
Also www.mininova.org is awsome. They have a realy nice design with categories for movies, music, games etc.
And as mentioned above, if you are looking for something particular use torrenstpy and isohunt.
And when downloading anything (SPECIALY PROGRAMMS) read the comments first. On mininova every torrent has a forum-like topic for discusion. If a torrent is fake or has a virus there will be dozens of warnings NOT to download.

The problem with Sites that provide so called "free" downloads where you don´t have to be a member and keep a descent ratio is the fact it takes forever to get things down. ( except new stuff ). such examples are mininova, piratebay etc. and it gets flooded with alot of crap to normally.
I use UseNxet news groups....very good....I also use Frostwire and emule now and again..... all pretty good...as long as you have the correct holes in your firewall etc
Emule is good because some webpages have links and you click them and the porn just goes straight into your emule downloading thingy.
