I finaly got my C4 expert explocive ordinance badge today!!!! Damn how many times ive tried to get it and just ended up 3-4 kills short of the demand. But today, with 2 tickets left, i got it. My last victim was a grenade launcher dude. I was playing on sharqi on a 64 server. Was 5-6 tickets left i think. Was at the first flag where MEC and USMC meet. Dont remember the name right now. No one was there and i had only one kill left. Then a "noob tubeer" came hoping. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO GLAD TO SEE ONE AS I WAS THEN. hehe...
I started to jump too, cause i didnt want him to hit me with his GL. He missed, i threw my C4, and for some reason i just kept throwing C4 until me and him blew up. I didnt care if i killed my self. Then i heard that "music" when you get a badge or ribbon. I just shouted: yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!!!

I started to try getting this badge when i had around 300 C4 kills. Now i have more than 1300 i think. FINALY!!!! Today! I think this badge is the hardest to get. What do you guys think is the hardest? What have you gotten that you are most satisfied with of the many badges/ribbons? Mine is the C4 badge.

And by the way, if any of you were playing with me today, on that server, dont remember the name... something about Nano... i apologize for the teamkills i made that round.

congrats!

my proudest badge is probably the expert c4 as well. 37 kills with any single weapon is pretty impressive, but even moreso with c4.

although, i'm working on getting the war college ribbon. i'm doing it legitimately too. 16 player servers where one or two people on a team can really make a difference. once i get that (if i get that), it'll probably be my most coveted.

Hmm that would be a dream for me, right now, my most prized award is my Veteran Spec Ops badge. Soon, it'll be my Veteran Medic Badge as well. I also like my basic pistol badge as well

Yeah. Keep up the good work. You will get it. If i saw correctly, you had about 2.5 or something on the win/lose ratio. I think you can do it. And congrats to you too for the C4 expert badge. 37 kills with just the C4 is hard, yeah. A friend of mine was close today. Wasnt even trying, but he loves blowing people up with C4. Specially after i showed him how to detonate the C4 quickly. He got 31 on a 32 man server.... short time i have to say. He was playing on Karkand.

Getting the pistol badge is fun too. I thought i would get the expert badge some time ago. I got 22 kills with the pistol on 64 server on Sharqi. Then i wondered why it didnt come.... checked my stats: ah.. have to have 500 in total first. But getting 22 kills was actually easier than i thought. Just play as a sniper or spec op.. since they have a silencer on the gun. Cool to sneak up on people and shoot them without them even hearing you. Specially around construction site on Sharqi...

Do you sometimes jump and shoot? Jump, shoot and prone in the air? Sometimes jump, prone, jump, prone or what ever? If you say that you have never done it, its a lie. Then you have done something dice didnt intend people to do. Well, its what i read in an interview from them anyway......

i don't see throwing c4 as a glitch.

before the game came out, EA released some preview videos to different websites. In one of the videos, it showed someone throwing c4 and detonating it in the air. If it was a glitch (i.e. not intended to be in the game), I highly doubt they would have shown it off in a video prior to game release.

the one thing i will miss when the new patch comes out is the ability to toss c4 over a fence or wall.

yeah instant detnoate isnt a gltich thats why you have to jump click prone press backwards a b a b left right left right select start .. its a code ea put for geniouses to use c4 as a nade .. thats why ea is patching it becuase they changing the code from contra to mario brothers

either that or youre abusing an exploit in the game ..

and no i dont bunny hop and shoot or jumop and shoot or prone in the air spraying .. if i prone in the air i dont shoot till i hit the ground ...and im not lying

Then how are they doing it so fast? It takes me like 1.5-2 seconds to pull the detonator out and most times it's switching back to c4 because of that well known bug lol

i'm not entirely sure since i've only been able to do it in single player...and i blew myself up in the process...but i think that pulling out the detonator is only an animation. if you right click to switch to it, then left click right away, it'll blow the c4.

actually it isnt just throw detontate ..try it ...there is a second delay from throwing to detonate as dice intended but there is a glitch by doing a few different key presses to make it detonate the instant you throw it making it blowup midair .. it also seems to have a hitbox error becuase the thrower seldom dies even though it explodes right near them, but i cant confirm the hitbox.. just my observations..

i applaud anyone who gets it legit but using an exploit it totally lame and make the game look stupid... c4 nading is right up there with bunny hopping gl douches ... and will be patched

oh. well then you might be right. it might be different in single player. i've never been able to do it successfully online...which i suppose is a good thing. but in singleplayer, it's just jump, toss, detonate. ...and like i said, i usually blow myself up when i do it.

no, after you throw it, you cant take out the detonator and press it. have to wait a second or so before you can take out the detonator.. then press it.
