IMO it was worth it {taking the time to meet all the requirements - and most of them before 1.3}
Despite making general recently I actually had more fun earning all the awards - even thou you tend not get high points while going after certain medals, ribbons, and badges. Just give it time and it will come to you and when you earn it you'll be doing that happy dance that should only be done in private

well im gonna get general, not soon though need 28.5k -_-, but i have no problem with vets for vehicles, i only need 31 hours for armour, i still dont see why they didnt reduce armour reqs, a bit gay imo

stef, the requirements were slashed down for people like you.
Higher rank requires more EXPERIENCE, not better k/d or spm.
you dont want to spend 100 hours FIGHTING in a tank?, then DONT do it. Enjoy your current rank.
Before, to be a 4 * general required to be expert at all, not very easy, now, is easy, just look at the top 20 of karkand whores how many of them are generals, some of them has never played other maps, or SF, or EF...

There's no point in having ranks, medals and badges that are too easy to get, otherwise they're devalued completely; as it is some of the Expert badges have been dumbed down too much already (Expert Sniper Combat and Expert Sniper Specialist are both really too easy).

there is armor at every map, play euroforces, theres a lot there.
You dont flat your ass inside a tank, you fight the enemy armors and rape the ground troops so your team can advance and win.
